Training and Lessons Programs

Maple Leaf Meadows offers a variety of training programs.

The goal of our farm is to ensure that quality horsemandhsip and the ability to safely handle a horse both off and on their backs is effectively taught.

Whether a rider's goal is to ride at the FEI levels or ride a safe trail ride, MLM wants to ensure both the horse and rider are successful and safe.

The training staff, collectively come, from a broad range of horse activities resulting in a group of teachers capable of teaching many aspects of horsemanship.

Our farm prides itself on the skills of our trainers so that we may assist in the education of all types of horses from varying background and training experiences.  Our focus is English disciplines riding.  However, we teach a great deal of Ground Training, Round Penning, Desensitizing, In-Hand Work, and Basic Horsemanship prior to the beginning a horse in the Dressage Classics or Jumping.

The students who have been with us are skilled and confident that they can handle their horses in all situations both in and out of the saddes and both on and off the farm.  Once their horsemanship skills are exhibited consistently, MLM students may begin competing.  MLM riders and horses are very active and highly successful in the competition ring form beginner to FEI.  Horsemanship comes before showmanship at MLM.

Depending on your needs and the needs of your horse, we will customize a program that is right for you.  Prices with vary accordingly and will range from $500.00 per month to $1200.00 per month (excluding board fees) for full training depending on the trainer and program you choose.

MLM also offers single sessions at fees ranging from $45.00 per session to $100.00 per session depending on the trainer and topic you choose.

Guest Instructors:  MLM is proud of their educational staff, the education hosted by the farm via clinics and the access to international coaching.  We feel we offer the widest variety of high quality information currently provided in the industry.  Therefore, MLM stays loyal to the trainers and instructors on staff and do not allow guest instructors to come in and teach clients.  If you make a choice to join Maple Leaf Meadows, please take into consideration that you are also joining the educational program at the farm.
